Thanks for this and not to be ungrateful but does anyone know how to put this in mp4 format? mp3 doesn’t work on my ipod.
I listen to books at work and we are not allowed to bring phones in the workplace so I rely on my old ass ipod. LOL

If you are on Catalina, books don’t have to be m4b anymore, they don’t even have to be on your computer. Open the Books app, select Add to Library, then navigate to the book you want to add, doesn’t matter where it’s located or whether it’s mp3 or m4b. Then sync your device.

I’m trying to listen to it on my nano 6 generation. The m4b format works great, but the mp3 doesn’t at all. It doesn’t let me rewind or pause. As soon as I try to do either, the book starts all over from the beginning.
I tried to change the format to audiobook in iTunes but that doesn’t work either. ☹️
