Just the other day FOX tried to pull this stunt in Seattle, where they sent a man around to interview people about how horrible Seattle was. Everyone he came up to told him Seattle was great, they never ran into any crime or anything horrible.

I visited Portland for work and the homeless and drug problem are apparent.
What does Fox news have to do with the decline of some major cities in the USA?
They do tend to run the violent crime clips over incessantly…
Well, since the left wing democrats will always run those cities, the social experiment will eventually run its course. We will see what happens. utopia or …?

Oh, and Target just announced they are closing 9 stores, guess where.. San Fran, Seattle, Portland, New York and I think Philli or Chicago… and other cities in blue states. We will be seeing a lot of other stores continuing to do the same. Walmart is already out of most of these cities, as well as a lot of other store closings by large brands. Its just insane seeing this destruction of America. I wish the Red states would secede and let the blue states fall into utter chaos.

People have done analysis on some of the target store closings in their state and almost every target closing have crime rates on the decrease. A lot of target stores with much higher crime rates are staying open. We went through the same BS a few years ago where drug stores were claiming they were shutting down due to rising crime after they had revealed plans to close the stores years before due to them underperforming. What these stores are really doing is they are raising a stick about it, so your local government will shovel more and more money into police services which will then operate as free security for these stores, it’s disingenuous nonsense. I’m not sure why conservative replubicans and democrats have this need to fantasize about hyper-dangerous cities that don’t exist, but it’s obnoxious, but it must be nice having so much time that you can play pretend about places you don’t ever interact with.
