If you’re an adult (i.e. anyone not in high school) you live on the same planet as Elliot Graves – but you certainly don’t inhabit the same world…
Elliot Graves’s life revolves around his room, school, Goth
chick friend Sacha and stoner buddy Alan. On the surface it’s a fairly typical, moderately alienated teenage world, except that Elliot is also a magnet for trouble. It seeks him out – whether it is car thieves, drug pushers, stalkers or nasty teacher – and Elliot is thrust into circumstances that grab him by the apathetic scruff of his neck and give him a good hard shake. He is a highly moral chap (in a selfish kind of way) and when Elliot stumbles over trouble he feels compelled to set things right (in a confused sort of way.) And he generally succeeds (in an amusing and inventive kind of way.)
Welcome to the mysterious life of Elliot Graves, the brainchild of 19 year-old Winnipeg writer, David Ferber. The series was produced in Toronto and Winnipeg by Tom Anniko.
